Memorial services for Evelyn E. Tate, 86, of Henderson will be held 3:00pm Wednesday June 7, 2017 at Trinity Baptist Church with Rev. Michael Cary and Rev. Brandon Cochran officiating. Cremation services were entrusted to Rader Funeral Home of Henderson.
Mrs. Tate passed away June 2, 2017 in Tyler. She was born May 25, 1931 in Independence, TX to Madora McCrocklin and born again April 13, 1947 and waited for the creek to warm to be Baptized on her 16th birthday May 25, 1947. She married Floyd Tate on March 29, 1969. Mrs. Tate retired from AT&T as a Long Distance Telephone Operator.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, her mother.
Survivors include: 1st cousin Fred &Judy Kettrick. 2nd cousins Donna Gandy& family,Brandy, Jair, Jayden,Megan, Drake. Mitchell &Adriana Kettrick &family,Chelsea,Danny,Shelby. Rhonda&Greg Cupit&family,Katie Jo,Billy,Ashlynn, Austin,Kellianne,Cheyenne, Justin&Nevaeh, a host of friends, a loving church family and her dear friend and caregiver, Jean Cole.
