Evelyn S. Davis' Obituary
Graveside services for Mrs. Evelyn S. Davis, age 82, of Heflin, La, formerly of Henderson will be held Saturday September 8, 2007 at 2:00PM at the Pine Hill Baptist Cemetery with the Rev. Danny Carter officiating, burial will follow in the Pine Hill Baptist Cemetery, under the direction of the Rader Funeral Home of Henderson.
Mr. Davis passed away Wednesday morning in a Shreveport La, hospital.
She was born August 24, 1925 in the Panola County, She lived and worked in Henderson for many years where she was a ticket agent for Trailways Bus Lines at the Henderson Bus Station before moving to Mineola in 1972.
She was a member of the Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Gene Davis, her parents Pitser and Bessie Smith, and brother Billy Smith.
Survivors include her sons, Donny Davis & wife Mary of Hideaway Lake, Jerry Davis of Longview, and Tony Davis of Minden, Nevada. A daughter Melissa Davis, and Brad Culpepper of Heflin, La. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The family will meet friends at the funeral home from 10am until noon Saturday.
