Evelyn N. McHaney's Obituary
Graveside services for Evelyn N. McHaney, 77, of Longview, will be
2 PM Thursday at Peatown Cemetery under the direction of Rader Funeral Home with Reverend Phil Jones officiating.
Mrs. McHaney died Sunday evening at a local medical center.
She was born July 1, 1925 in Laurel, Mississippi to Julius and Katie Norman.
Evelyn was a member of the First Christian Church , was a homemaker and member of the Order of Eastern Star.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 6-8 PM. and have asked that memorial contributions be made to the First Christian Church Building Fund, 720 N. 6th St, Longview, Texas 75601.
Mrs. McHaney was preceded in death by her mother, Katie and brother, Bill Norman.
She is survived by her husband, Julian McHaney; daughters and sons-in-law, Gail and Ron Adams, Tanya and Mike Powdrill; sister, Nanette Bailey of Little Rock, Arkansas ; grandchildren, Raymond Alexander, Jubal Alexander, Jackie Peace, Heather Powdrill, Tara Powdrill, Hunter Powdrill and 9 great grandchildren.
