There will be a happy meeting and much rejoicing in Heaven another of God's children has made it home no more sickness and suffering.
Funeral services for Evelyn M. Hughes 86, of Longview will held at Ten O'clock am Tuesday September 2, 2008 at the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home with Reverend James Boatman officiating. Entombment will follow at the Rosewood Park Mausoleum under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mrs. Hughes passed away Thursday August 28, 2008 in Longview.
She was born November 19, 1921 in Center, Texas to Elbert Clifton and Hester Clara Spann Stephens. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Pentecostal Church of Kilgore.
She is survived by her sister, Connie Burns of Birmingham, Alabama and a special niece Mary Kennon of Center, Texas and a host of other nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband Alton Hughes and her parents.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday September 1, 2008 from 3-5 pm.
