Evelyn Applewhite's Obituary
Graveside services for Evelyn Applewhite, 73, of Longview, will be held at 2 PM Saturday, Feb. 8, 2003 at Memory Park Cemetery under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. She died Wed. Feb. 5, at her home.
Mrs. Applewhite was born Sept. 26, 1929 in Mena, Arkansas to George and Hester Gosnell, and was a lifetime resident of Longview. She was an employee of Dillard?s for over 40 years, and a member of the Greggton United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Applewhite was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Applewhite, and her mother Hester Pitman Thompson.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Sherry and John Turner of Longview; sons and daughter-in-law, Gary Applewhite of Longview and Larry and Margaret Applewhite of San Antonio; grandchildren, Brian Burrow and his wife Melissa of Austin, and Larry Applewhite of Longview; great grandchildren, Lily Burrow of Austin; sister, Leslie Hamm of Daingerfield; and a niece, Michelle Stewart of Daingerfield.
