Mrs. Sallee passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 in Grapevine, TX. She was a member of White’s Chapel United Methodist Church, Southlake, TX. Eve was born July 7, 1930 in Berlin Germany. As a young girl she studied classical ballet leading to her early performing career as a prima ballerina throughout Europe. Eve met and later married Ralph Neitbaur in 1958. The couple later adopted their only child, a son, Ralph. Together the couple worked as Executive Promoters/Producers throughout Europe for the renowned, still existing, Holiday On Ice until Ralph’s death in 1969.
In 1972, Eve met and later married David Sallee. The family moved to David’s hometown, Longview, in 1973. Upon her arrival to the United States, Eve dove head-first into her new culture and large Sallee family. She loved each one and was loved by all, as well. Eve was an excellent cook and had the gift of hospitality. She had an immeasurable love for animals. Throughout the years she had many faithful doggie-children. In her later years, they served to be her constant companions and brought her great pleasure.
Eve is survived by stepchildren John Sallee (Elaine) Sally Sallee and Cindi Sallee Sylvester (Tony), grandchildren, Joshua Sallee (Michelle), Andrea Blalock, Laura Blalock McCall (Seth) and Conrad Sylvester, great-grandchildren, Emmylou, Huck and Adell McCall all of the DFW area; and cousin Maria Arctander of Nevada, nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
