Evangelist M. Dianne Jamerson Haynes
Services for Evangelist M. Dianne Jamerson Haynes, of Longview, will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 9, 2012, at Bethel Temple of Longview, with Bishop Robert L. Evans officiating. The burial will be in Rosewood Park Cemetery in Longview.
Mrs. Haynes was born May 14, 1946, in Longview, Texas to Charlie Sr. and Tommie Lee Jamerson, she entered into eternal rest Monday, June 4, 2012 at Good Shepherd Medical Center.
She was a graduate of Mary C. Womack High School. Mrs. Haynes also attended Kilgore College and received a Certificate in Floral Arrangements and Interior Design. Decorating was her passion. She was a contractor for Home Interior & Designs for twenty years and received numerous awards, gifts, and trips honoring her for being the yearly Top Seller.
On April 7, 1964, she married her high school sweetheart and love of her life Russell Haynes. They were happily married for 48 years. While decorating was her passion, Mrs. Haynes was a homemaker first, where she lovingly cared for her husband and children. Mrs. Haynes was a faithful member of Bethel Temple of Longview where she served as Sunday School Teacher, Vacation Bible School Teacher, Decorating Ministry, Hospitality, and President of the Christian
Mrs. Haynes is survived by her loving, devoted husband of 48 years, Russell Haynes; son and daughter-in-law Braylon and Brenda Haynes of Longview; daughter and son-in-law Nikita and Johnny Mumphrey; special daughter Tasharia Thomas of Lewisville; seven grandchildren Pastasia Thomas, Anthony Mathis, Brandon Keith Haynes Amanda, Marcellus Haynes, Frederick Haynes, A'kia Mumphrey, and Alana Mumphrey; four great-grandchildren MaLiek Brooks, Bailey Williams, Ariana Haynes, and Brianne Haynes; brothers-in-law: Taylor Haynes of Houston, Johnny Haynes and Charles Haynes of Longview; Sisters-in-law: Gloria Jamerson of Longview , Thelma Stone and Wilma Register of California; and several cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father Charlie Jamerson Sr, mother Tommie Lee Jamerson, brothers: Charlie Jamerson Jr, Crawford Jamerson, Jobby Jamerson Sr, and sister-in-law Mary Frances Jamerson.
Visitation will be held Friday June 8, 2012 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm. at Rader Funeral Home in Longview.
