Funeral services for Eva Rae Young, 80, of Longview will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, July 20, 2004 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview, 1617 Judson Road, with the Dr. Pamela Owens officiating. Entombment will follow in Rosewood Parks Hope Garden Mauso-leum.
Mrs. Young was born on November 20, 1923 in Dallas, to C.H. and Bessie Neva Helton. She passed away on Saturday evening, July 17, 2004 in a Longview hospital.
She was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church.
A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Mrs. Young was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Archie Young of Longview; daughter and son-in-law, Karen Lynn and Steven An-derson of Sugarland; granddaughter, April Anderson of Longview; sisters, Neva Mae Owens and Jean Webb, both of Dallas; one niece and 2 nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM Monday evening, July 19, 2004 at the funeral home.
