Eunice Mae Ahle's Obituary
LONGVIEW – Funeral services for Eunice Mae Ahle, age 81, of Longview Texas will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at First Lutheran Church in Longview. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memory Park Cemetery. Mrs. Ahle passed away Friday surrounded by family. The family will receive friends at Radar Funeral Home Tuesday January 26th from 6 to 8pm. Eunice was born August 28, 1934 in Bellevue, Ohio to the late Reverend & Mrs. G F Stengel. She graduated from Gibsonburg High School in Gibsonburg, Ohio in 1952. She married Fred Ahle in 1954 and started their lifetime together. She joined Fred in 1955 in Prestwick, Scotland where Fred was serving in the Air Force. Eunice and Fred went to college in Inglewood, California. They move to Texas in 1952 where they lived in Dallas until 1971. They lived in Longview since 1974, where they established a Kwik-Kopy printing business. She was an active member of First Lutheran Church were Eunice served as an organist for many years, sang in the choir, and was a member of the bridge club and Quilting club. Eunice was dedicated to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was a great lover of music and of the natural world, especially flowers, birds, mountains and waterfalls. She loved to play board games with her children, grandchildren and friends. Eunice was predeceased by sisters Ruth Lundberg, Dorothy Myers, Louis Acord. She is survived by her husband Fred Ahle, her children Steve, Ron and Nancy, her grandchildren Allen, Micah, Justin, Daniel and Austin, and her brother, Reverend Paul Stengel and his wife Phyllis of Sandusky Ohio and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to express our deep appreciation for the tender loving care given Eunice at Summer Meadows and Longview Regional Hospital. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be given to First Lutheran Church building fund.
