Eugene Edward Stone's Obituary
Funeral services for Eugene E. Stone will be held at 10 A.M. on Monday March 7, 2011, at the chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Longview, with the Reverend Ben Clayton officiating with interment following at Rosewood Park in Longview.
Mr. Stone was born on October 25, 1930 in Longview and went to be with the Lord on March 4, 2011 at the age of 80 years. He was a graduate of Judson High School, was a US Navy veteran, a member of the Freemasons and a retired Dallas Firefighter.
Gene, as he was known by those that loved him, is survived by his loving wife of 46 years Doris Stone; four children, Eddie Stone, Scott Stone, Dona Archer and Mike Pritchett; two sisters, Liz Forcher and Nellie Boyd; ten grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He loved his family dearly and will be missed by all that knew him.
The family will welcome visitors at Rader Funeral Home on Sunday March 6, 2011 from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M.
