Graveside services for Etoyle Christopher ?Chris? Bridges, 88, of Longview will be held at 12 Noon Saturday March 13, 2010 at Rosewood Park Cemetery. Interment will follow at Rosewood Park Cemetery under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mrs. Bridges passed away March 11, 2010 in Longview.
Mrs. Bridges was born October 29, 1921 in Athens, Alabama to Robert Lee and Lurline Hamilton Christopher. She moved to Longview in 1972 from Ohio. She was devoted, independent, strong willed and had a silly sense of humor. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, quilting and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Patti Brevard and husband Brent of Gilmer, TX.; son, Michael Bridges and wife Lisa of College Station, TX.; three granddaughters, Sara Brevard, Hanna Brevard both of Gilmer, and Jolene Wegner of Brenham, TX.; three great-grandchildren, close friend and ?adopted son?, Richard Cruz of Hallsville, TX.;
She was preceded in death by her brother Robert H. Christopher.
