Ethan Bryce Sikes' Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Ethan Bryce Sikes, who left this world far too soon, on June 21, 2025, at the tender age of 23. Born on April 2, 2002, in Misawa, Japan, Ethan embraced life with a spirit that illuminated the lives of those around him. He was born to his loving parents, James Dan Sikes and Bridget Waller. Ethan made his home in Longview, Texas, along with his loving wife Karina Sikes.
Ethan graduated from Brownsboro High School in 2020. He was currently majoring in computer science at Kilgore College and worked as a Valve Technician at CD Services.
Ethan’s love for his wife, Karina Sikes, was boundless. He selflessly paused his own education, prioritizing her dreams as if they were his own, and with unwavering support, celebrated her every accomplishment. To those who knew him, Ethan was a source of joy—a man whose laughter and wit could brighten the darkest of days. His kindness and generosity were legendary, and he opened his heart and arms to anyone in need, embodying the very essence of companionship and empathy.
Ethan is survived by his beloved wife, Karina; his father, James Sikes; his mother, Bridget Waller; brother, Micah Sikes; and sister Emma Chavez. Each loved one will carry cherished memories of his unique spirit, and he will be profoundly missed.
Visitation will take place at Rader Funeral Home in Longview on June 23, 2025, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, allowing family and friends to come together in remembrance of Ethan. The funeral service will follow on June 24, 2025, at 12:00 PM in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home, where we will gather to honor his life and the countless ways in which he touched our hearts.
Though his time with us was far too brief, Ethan's legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering support will forever resonate in our lives. There are no words that can encapsulate the amazing human being that Ethan was. He was a light in everyone’s lives who knew him. As we say our goodbyes, we hold tightly to the memories of a kind soul who made the world a brighter place.
