I still remember Hunter running joyfully around the playground at Applewood Academy Daycare, where we spent many of our childhood years. Then as we grew up we both attended the same schools throughout high school. I was a grade ahead of him, so I didn't know him that well. Everytime I saw Hunter around school, I though about all the memories of Applewood Academy. It sadness me to think about Hunter's passing, but I know that he is with God in a better place. Hunter Cippele was an amazing young man. As a student in my AP English IV class his senior year in high school, Hunter would often tell me, "Mrs. Bozeman, I'm not very good at English." I never found that to be the case. He had a spirit about him that caused others to love and respect him always. It never failed that at some quiet moment during class, Hunter would burst out with--"Hey, Mrs. Bozeman, have you ever seen the movie, 'Office Space'?" It got to be a daily ritual that would send everyone into laughter--one of Hunter's appealing characteristics--the ability to make everyone laugh. We shall miss him here on earth, but know that we will be reunited with him one day in Heaven. He was a wonderful person with genuine feelings which always made others feel special. I am blessed to have known him. Hunter was one of the most spirited people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. He truly made being a freshman at LETU a blessing, and I know that I'm not the only one who feels this way. I am deeply aggrieved at his passing, for I know that the world will have lost a shining light, but I am rejoicing in the fact that he has gone to join our Father, and has made Heaven even better by being there.
