Estelle D. Fleischer's Obituary
Funeral services for Estelle Fleischer, 92, of Longview will be held at 10 AM Wednesday, May 9, 2012 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview with Ritchie Hamm and David Cotham officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens in Longview. Mrs. Fleischer passed away Sunday night in a local hospital. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5-7 PM at the funeral home.
Estelle Fleischer was born on June 9, 1919 in Daingerfield to Samuel and Sidney Gable. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was known to most people as "Mammaw". She touched the lives of everyone she knew. Mrs. Fleischer was beautiful and had a smile that lit up the room. She loved to sew, cook, read, attend church at Pine Tree Church of Christ, and visit with friends and family. Estelle also operated a beauty shop and worked as a beautician for many years in Longview. She was so sweet, loving and big hearted.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 7 brothers and 3 sisters; her first husband, Worthy Dodds; her daughter, Gail Marett; and her granddaughter, Stacey Click.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 33 years, Homer Fleischer; her son, Gary West; her daughter, April Oney; stepdaughter, Marsha Waggonspack; stepson, Greg Fleischer; her grandchildren, Chance Marett, Patricia Frank, Bridgette Hewitt, Celeste Zimicki, Rena` Shirley; her step grandchildren, Jenny Browning, Andrew Waggonspack, Laura White, Stephen Fleischer; her great grandchildren Blake Oney, Brandon Oney, Brantley Oney, Daniel Cameron, James Michael Frank, Samuel Frank, Azriel Frank, Trinity Frank, Marche Zimicki, Natalie Zimicki, Sarah Click, Alexa Hewitt, Brianna Hewitt, Christopher Hewitt, Christopher Greene, and James Shirley; and her step great grandchildren, Ethan Browning, Luke White, and Ben White; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
