Funeral services for Ray Clinton, 83, of Hallsville, will be held at 10 AM Monday, December 10, 2001 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Burial will follow in LaGrones Chapel Cemetery.
He was born February 19, 1918 in Beckville, Texas to O.S. and Myrtle Clinton. He passed away on Friday afternoon December 7, 2001 in a Longview Hospital.
A loving father and grandfather, he was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Clinton, and parents and is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Pauline and Rodney Hebert of Thibodaux, La., Donna and Robert Adams of Patterson, La. Frances Pinho of Patterson, La., son, Billy Weldy of Katy, Texas, grandchildren, Michael Adams, Keith Pinho, Scott Pinho, Steve Weldy, Brad Weldy, brother, J.A. Clinton of Hallsville, nieces and their husbands, Terry and Neal Walker of Longview, and, Sue and Ronald Waits of Longview. The family will receive friends at the fu-neral home Sunday December 9, 2001 from 5 PM until 7 PM.
