Ernestine Tate passed away October 13, 2020 at Brookdale Assisted Living in Waco, Texas. A burial service will be held at 2 pm on Friday, October 16 at Crims Chapel Cemetery in Henderson, TX. A visitation will be held at the Chape Read Obituary
Growing up in Trinity Baptist Church and in the neighborhood with the Tates I will say there were no nicer people than P C and Ernestine. They were truly Christian people who loved the Lord Jesus and were not ashamed to say it. We were blessed to have known them on this earth.

David and I were raised attending Trinity Baptist Church with some of the best families one could ever be privileged to know. Certainly the Tate family was one of them. Ernestine’s devotion to Carl and the kindness she always showed to everyone made a lasting impression on me. My parents were very fond of Cooter and Ernestine. My condolences to Barbara and Cheryl, cherish your fond memories of sweet parents.

Barbara...so sorry for your loss. I remember vividly going to your house here in Henderson years and years ago as a girls in action member. Your mom was always so calming as I recited scripture by memory. I so loved her. You and Cheryl will be in my prayers! God bless you all!
