Ernest D. “Ernie” Higginbotham
Ernest D. “Ernie” Higginbotham, 72, of White Oak, TX passed away Saturday, November 14, 2015, at a local hospital after a lengthy illness.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marshall and Macie Higginbotham; his 4 brothers, Kramen, Philmon, Harold and R.L. Higginbotham; 2 sisters, Pervey Hunter and Jean Ingram.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 35 years, Louise Higginbotham; 2 daughters, Vicky Dudley and husband Doug, Pam Adkinson and husband Craig Pee; 3 step-daughters, Pauline Perino and husband Pete, Anita Hageman and husband Steve, Alice Hunter and husband Barry; 1 step-son, Ron Thompson; 3 sisters, Beatrice Odom, Ardell Bozarth and Maurene Harris; 25 grandkids and 28 great grandkids.
Ernie was born June 5, 1943. He was born and raised in White Oak and attended White Oak High School. He retired from Sertex, Inc. of Longview. Ernie enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing pool and playing with grandkids.
Celebration of Life Services will be held at 12:00 Noon Saturday, November 21, 2015, in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of the funeral home.
