Ernest G. Ritchie's Obituary
Graveside services for Mr. Ernest G. Ritchie, age 77, of Henderson will be held Thursday February 21, 2008 at 1:00pm at the Southland Cemetery in Grand Prairie, Texas with Rev. Joe Orr and Rev. Steve Butler officiating burial will follow under the direction of the Rader Funeral Home of Henderson.
Mr. Ritchie passed away Sunday February 17, 2008 at Henderson Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Ritchie was born in Dallas January 10, 1931, and had been a resident of Henderson since 1991. He was a retired self employed salesman where he worked in the truck equipment business. He was a veteran having served in the U.S. Marine Corp.
He was also a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.
He was preceded in the death by his parents Ernest & Onie Ritchie, and a brother Max Grady Ritchie.
He is survived by daughters Kim Cobb & husband Curtis of Henderson, and Karen Ritchie of Studio City, Calf. a son Keith Ritchie & wife Gina of McKinney. Grandchildren Jeremy Cobb & fianc'e Maria, Nikki & Chad Young , Shaun Ritchie, and Lauren Ritchie, one great grandchild Lillian Young. He is also survived by a sister
Martha Ballard Smith of Lake Jackson, 3 nephews, and 2 nieces.
The family will meet friends at the Funeral Home Wednesday night from 6pm until 8pm.
