Ernest B. Griggs' Obituary
Graveside services for Ernest B. Griggs, 77, of Longview, will be 2 PM Thursday, June 24, 2004 at Rosewood Park Cemetery with Oscar Lee Smart officiating.
Interment will follow. Services are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home, 1617 Judson Rd.
Ernest was born September 3, 1926 in Hugo, Oklahoma to Lee and Vera Griggs.
He passed away Monday, June 21 in the Veteran?s Administration hospital in Shreveport, LA.
Mr. Griggs was employed in oil field sales by National Tank Company where he had worked for 40 years, and had served his country in the US Army.
Mr. Griggs is survived by his daughter, Dottie Beard of Longview; son, Rick Griggs of Princeton; brother, W. F. Griggs of Idabel, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Jay Griggs, Slade Beard, Elisha Griggs and numerous nieces and nephews.
