Erma May Hammon's Obituary
Erma May Hammon, age 85, of Longview passed away and went to be with her Lord and Savior August 30, 2015. She was one of twelve brothers and sisters born March 10, 1930 to Forest and Edith Hammon in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Erma has been a Longview resident for over 20 years and retired from the Sears and Roebuck Company as a sales associate after many years of faithful service.
Foremost Erma Loved the Lord with all her heart and was always ready to talk about how beautiful heaven is and will be and was a faithful member of the White Oak Church of God. To know Erma was to know how much she loved her family and adored her grand and great grandchildren.
Those left to cherish Erma’s memory are her children Charles Keen, Philip Keen and his wife Glenda and Merijo Pitman and her husband David, 7 grandchildren 11 great grandchildren, many extended family members and her dear life-long best friend Artie Jarrett. She will be sorely missed by all.
As per Erma’s request, private cremation arrangements are under the care of Rader Funeral Home in Longview. There will be a private memorial service in Odessa, Texas at a later date.
