Heaven has gained a sweet, courageous angel that this world will truly miss. I enjoyed teaching Eric at HMS; he had a true love for learning and gave 100%. I was fascinated by the deep brotherly love that Eric and Ethan had for each other. God bless and comfort Eric's family and friends and let his memory give you peace.

I remember Eric's and Ethan's first day at Henderson Middle School. Both were so happy to be at school. One could tell their brotherly love and bond immediately. I had the honor and privilege to have Eric in one of my classes. He had an aurora of peace and happiness around him. As his health declined, I sat closer to him and got to know him better. I then would push him and his wheelchair to the next class. We would sometimes go fast, and then sometimes we would take a scenic route. Eric was an absolute joy to be around. Eric was a smart student and a encourager. He was a warrior and a trooper. Eric will be sorely missed. I know he is completely healed now and with Jesus. Enjoy Heaven Eric, I'll see you later on.
