Ercil Driggars, SR's Obituary
Graveside services for Ercil Driggars, SR, 87, of Hallsville will be held at 10 AM Saturday, October 30, 2010 at Memory Park Cemetery in Longview. Services are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mr. Driggars passed away Wednesday evening at his home in Hallsville.
Ercil was born on May 30 1923 in Oklahoma. He proudly served his country in the US Army during WWII and was the recipient of a Purple Heart. He worked as a machinist and supervisor for Ampco Pittsburg for many years before retirement.
Those left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 67 years, Sarah Louise Driggars; son, Ercil Driggars, JR; daughter, Sarah Ann Driggars; and numerous grandkids, great-grandkids, and other family members.
