Ennis Taylor Spence, Jr. of Longview joined the Lord Friday morning, May 23rd.
Graveside services for Ennis Taylor Spence, Jr. 73, of Longview will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, May 28, 2003 at Lakeview Memorial Gardens with The Reverend Milton J. Black and Verger John C. Murphy officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview.
He was born June 25, 1929 in Fort Worth, Texas to Ennis Taylor Spence, Sr. and Marie Spence. He had lived in Longview the past 40 years coming from Tyler and was a member of the Trinity Episcopal Church. Mr. Spence was a 50 year member and 32nd degree Mason of the Tyler Lodge, a member of the Dallas Scottish Rite and a Veteran of the US Army during the Korean War. He was a salesman for the Huttig Sash and Door Company and the International Paper Company.
Mr. Spence was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Catlett and by his two sons, Ennis Taylor Spence III and Joseph Michael. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia Anne and Guy Cervera of Saratoga Springs, New York; two sisters, Virginia Brookshire of Temple, TX, Jerelaine Lipman of Scottsdale, Arizona; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
