Enis H. Pike's Obituary
Funeral services for Mr. Enis H. Pike, age 98 of Henderson, will be held Monday April 10, 2017 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Kuykendall officiating. Burial will follow in the Strong Cemetery. Mr. Pike was born December 22, 1918 in Gilliam, LA to Clifford Isaac and Eva Jewell Pike and died Saturday April 8, 2017 in a local nursing home.
Mr. Pike was retired from the US Army where he had served in World War II and the Korean Conflict, he had worked for the Department of Public Safety in Liberty County, and then Retired from Sears and Roebuck Company. Enis was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Helen Heim Pike, his parents, sister Kathleen Mauritzen, brothers, Dennis Pike, Leonard Pike, and Marion Dale Pike.
Mr. Pike is survived by his son James Pike and wife Robin of Henderson, daughter Paula J. Massey and husband Martey of Commerce, grandchildren, Russell Massey and wife Jeanette, Laura Massey, John Massey, Aaron Massey, Jason Pike and wife Cinny, Jared Pike and John Barker, great grandchildren Erica and Mary Lane Massey, Dustyn and Caleb Pike, Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be John Massey, Aaron Massey, Jason Pike and Jared Pike.
Visitation will be from 12:30 until service time at the Funeral Home.
