Emma J. "Emmy" Hall
Graveside services for Emma J. "Emmy" Hall, 6, of Hallsville, will be held at 10 AM Friday, July 26, 2002 at Hallsville Cemetery with the Reverend Randy Hageman officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview.
Mrs. Hall was born on August 16, 1932 in Knickerbocker, Texas to Buell and Annie Mills. She passed away on Tues-day evening, July 23, 2003 in a Longview nursing facility.
Mrs. Hall had been a resident of Hallsville since 1955. She worked as a personnel manager for Cooper Industries, in the Oil Tool Division, for Joseph Schlitz, Container Division in Longview, for Marshall Tile and for Axleson, Inc. of Longview. Mrs. Hall served as a Treas-urer for 14 years with the Hallsville United Way, the Director of the Hallsville Chamber of Commerce, a member of the Texas Association of Business Women, a Board member of Region 7 Education Center, a past Presi-dent of the Tall Pines Chapter of ABWA, a member of the East Texas Personnel Association, a life member of the East Texas Chapter of American Ex-Prisoners of War, and a member of the First United Methodist Church oh Hallsville.
A loving mother, and grandmother, Mrs. Hall was preceded in death by her par-ents, husbands, Jesse N. Young, Wendell B. Hall, and grandson, Matthew Hobbs. She is survived be her son and daughter-in-law, Jesse Neal and Deborah Young of Hallsville, daughters and sons-in-law, Wendy and Raymond Ditmore of BelAir, Maryland, Diane and Glenn Hobbs of Longview, Michelle and Dan Adams of Gilmer, sister, Edna Earle Edwards of LaPuente, California, brother, S.M. "Pete" Mills of Brookshire, Texas, and her grandchildren, who will serve as hon-orary pallbearers, Charlotte Young An-derson and her husband Eric of Cary, North Carolina, Jessica Young of Hallsville, Wes Hobbs of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Will Hobbs of Longview, Jennye Ditmore of BelAir, Maryland, and Jimmy Ditmore of BelAir, Maryland..
