Emma Elizabeth Turner's Obituary
Private family graveside services for Emma Elizabeth Turner , 87, of Longview were held Saturday, March 6th at Memory Park Cemetery with Father Gavin Vaverek officiating. Burial was under the direction of Rader Funeral Home. Mrs. Turner died Monday, March 1st at a Bedford, Texas nursing home.
She was born August 3, 1916 at New Orleans, Louisiana to Frank and Dora Burkett Graff. A resident of Longview since 1943, Mrs. Turner was a member of the Catholic Church, a homemaker, and for many years, along with her husband, Jesse, owned and operated Turner?s Jewelry in downtown Longview.
She is survived by her daughter, Carol Lingard of Arlington, Texas; her son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Burma Turner of Ft. Worth; her grandchildren: Scott and Christi Lingard, Glenn Turner, Steve Turner, and Martha Turner; her great grandchildren, Jake and Luke Lingard; a brother, Gayland Graff of Marshall; special friend, Velma Colbert; sisters-in-law, Dorothy Graff of Longview and Audrey Turner of Dallas; niece and husband, Kathi and Mike Holbert of Longview; niece and husband, Kristi and Ted Ward of Austin; nephew and wife, Gary and Ann Graff of Longview; nephew and wife, Grady and Dee Turner of Colorado; several; other nephews and great nieces. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse; a son-in-law, Sam Lingard of Arlington; and brothers Jack, Harold, and Frank Graff.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Mrs. Turner?s honor may be made to a favorite charity..
