Emily Rose Jones' Obituary
Graveside services for Emily Rose Jones, 92 of Longview will be held on Tuesday June 20 at 10 AM at Memory Park Cemetery, 2823 East Marshall Avenue with Wayne Spanhanks officiating.
Mrs. Jones died on June 15th at home surrounded by her family, which is exactly what she wanted. She loved her family and friends so much and would tell us all how much she loved us daily.
She was born September 30, 1930 in Wills Point, TX to Patrick Henry and Minnie Clara Hottinger. She grew up in Terrell. She married George Jones and they moved to Longview. After George passed away in 1981, she raised her daughters while working at JCPenney. She loved to tell everyone that she started working the first day the mall opened. She retired in 1994 to take care of her first grandchild. She was a member of Spring Hill First Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death are her husband George, mother, father, and two brothers.
Surviving her are her daughters, Karyn Jones and Jennifer Bryan and husband Tod. Her grandchildren, Sara and Kyle Bryan, who were the loves of her life.
