Funeral services for Elver Mae LaBaume, 82, of Longview will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 30, 2017, in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview with Dr. Gregg Zackary officiating. Interment will follow in Memory Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Born October 12, 1934 in Laneville, TX to Hollis C. Nichols, Sr. and Elsie Mae Moore Nichols, she passed away March 25, 2017, in a Longview hospital. She was a retired bookkeeper and accounting clerk for Reeves Oil and Refrigeration Services of Longview. She was a very active member of Mobberly Baptist Church for 48 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, Hollis Nichols. Jr.
Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 59 years, Erwin F. LaBaume; her daughter, Jeanette L. White and husband Daniel of Tyler; granddaughters, Alyssa White Hassell and husband Andrew of Frisco and Allison White of Lubbock; brother, Bobby Nichols and wife Lujean of Lake Cherokee; sister, Shirley Steelman and husband Troy of Kilgore; and sister-in-law, Joyce Nichols of Longview; and several nieces and nephews.
