Elsie was a GREAT cook! Several of her most requested items were banana pudding, dressing, and spice cake with penuche icing. When she made dressing, she always made sure that she had a bowl of the uncooked dressing for both of her daughters. She always had one for each of them in their special Tupperware bowl.
Family was a major priority in her life, but so was her love of Jesus Christ. She would always share about God’s love with each and every person she would meet. It didn’t matter if you have talked a million times or never meet before she would have a way to share with them.
She was close with her family. She spent many an hour and or weekends at a brother or sisters house playing games with them. The favorite games were 42, Progressive Rummy, and Chicken Foot. She was very competitive and loved to win, but she was humble and never was she a sore loser. She lived for family reunions and getting to see people she hadn’t seen in a while. She was loved by so many.
She kept a very tidy house and always made sure anyone that came over had something to eat. You would never go away from there hungry unless you just didn’t speak up.
Mrs. Loveless was preceded in death by her husband, Husband Dilworth P. Loveless, her father William P Waldrop, her mother Nellie G. Williams Waldrop, also by 2 brothers and 2 sisters, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Those left to cherish her memory are her Daughters, Janie Marie Loveless of Longview TX, and Marguerite (Margo) Loveless Martin of Gilmer TX; her bother, Grady Cherry of Irving TX; her sister, Ann Chandler Bland of Forney TX; grandsons, Todd Kelley of Longview and Joshua Martin of Gilmer; granddaughter, Janis Martin Carrington of Gilmer; great granddaughters, Jessica Carrington, Sarah Carrington, and Rebecca Martin all of Gilmer; and great grandsons, Cody Kelley of Longview and Ethan Martin of Gilmer.
