Eloise Stone McAlester's Obituary
Services for Mrs. Eloise Stone McAlester, 83, of Longview, will be 2 PM Tuesday, August 10, 2004 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home, 1617 Judson Rd. with Reverend Mike Lindstrom officiating. Interment will follow in Noonday Cemetery north of Hallsville. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening, August 9, 2004 from 6 pm until 7 pm.
Mrs. McAlester died Sunday morning at a local nursing facility.
Eloise was born October 18, 1920 in Hunt County, Texas to Leon and Ruby Black Stone. She was a member of the Winterfield Methodist Church and held a BS degree in Elementary Education. She was employed by the Ft. Worth Independent School District where she taught for 34 years and 4 months.
Eloise is survived by numerous cousins including, Walter Huffman of Gladewater, Margaret Nimtz of Longview, Ruby Earl Neal of Flagstaff, AZ and Emma Jean Bridewell of Kentucky.
The family asks that memorial donations be made to the Noonday Cemetery Association.
