Elmer Everett Hardin Jr.'s Obituary
Elmer Everett Hardin, Jr., age 87, passed away Sunday, June 24 at his home in Longview surrounded by members of his family and caregivers.
A native of Miller County, Arkansas, he had resided in Longview for the past 60 years. Following service in the US Air Force, Hardin began a 30-year career at Texas Eastman and had been retired since 1986.
He was married for nearly 64 years to Rubye Gayle Barton Hardin, who survives him. Others are: sons, Randy and wife Jerrine of Georgetown, Texas and Bradley and wife, Darlene of Little Rock, Arkansas; brothers, Roy of McKinney, Texas and James of Longview; and eleven grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 9 AM Wednesday morning at Crims Chapel Cemetery.
