Ellen W. Zimmer, born to RJ and Edna Bryan in Jacksonville, Florida, August 8, 1945, went to her heavenly home on January 27, 2014.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas Zimmer of Longview, daughters Melissa and husband Greg Smeal of Rochester, New York, Tara and Darrel Vaughn of Little Elm TX, son Eric Robert Wulbrecht and wife Tammy of Longview, TX, Eric Anthony and wife Jill Zimmer of Bossier City, LA, grandchildren: Brian Dubois, Jordan Wulbrecht, Kara Smeal, Samantha Smeal, Thomas Wulbrecht, Steven Smeal, Isaiah Zimmer, Savannah Wulbrecht, Grant Harris, Isabella Zimmer, and Ava Wulbrecht; great-grandchildren: Mary Wulbrecht, Marlee Smeal and Ashton Dubois; siblings, Sherry and Cletus Edwards, Cindy and Edward Rowley, Marsha Edwards, and Glenda and Emmitt Corker.
Ellen was a loving sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, as well as a great friend. She was known to all as a self-less, hard-working individual. She was also an avid reader, and loved all kinds of art, crafts and music. She greatly loved and was greatly loved.
A private family memorial service will be conducted later this year.
