Funeral services for Ellen Jeannette Pearson, of Longview, will be held at 2 PM Friday, December 7, 2001 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview with the Reverends Spurgeon Dunnam and Brian Brooks officiating. Interment will be in Kilgore Cemetery. She died Tuesday, December 4, in Good Shepherd Medical Center. Mrs. Pearson was born November 16, 1919 in Titusville, PA. In 1940, she married Edward Chester Pearson. She was a member of Welsey- McCabe United Methodist Church and sang regularly in the church choir. She worked as a hospital volunteer at Memorial Southeast in Houston, and for 18 years, she volunteered at Good Shepherd Medical Center in Longview. Mrs. Pearson is survived by her husband of 61 years, Edward C. Pearson of Longview; sons, Eddie Pearson and his wife, Ethel of Texarkana, TX, and Richard Pearson and his wife, Faith Ann of Longview; granddaughters, Paula Miller and her husband Mike and their children, Kayla and Casey, and Regina Pearson and her daughter Hanna, all of Texarkana; grandson, Brian Brooks and his wife Hannah of Hardin, Missouri.
