We gather to celebrate the life of Ella Lou Riddle, who peacefully departed this world on June 28, 2026, at the age of 88. Born on April 23, 1938, in Batesville, Arkansas, Ella filled her years with love, laughter, and an enduring spirit that touched everyone she met. Ella's journey took her from her home in Arkansas to Fort Worth as a young girl, eventually leading her to her cherished home in Hallsville, Texas, where she created countless memories filled with warmth and kindness.
Ella is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Willard Riddle, Parents, Ruel Ernest and Monnie Kates, and her two children, James Hill and Marci Hammond. Ella's legacy carries on through her daughter Darla Blalock (Michael), son Dell Dixon, and her extended family of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Known for her generous heart, Ella welcomed everyone into her life and her home. She had a soft spot for stray animals, often providing them with a loving shelter, reflecting her compassionate nature. Ella found joy in simple pleasures like traveling, gardening, and antiquing, always on the lookout for the next special treasure.
As we gather to remember and honor Ella, we invite you to join us in celebrating her remarkable spirit and the profound impact she had on our lives.
A graveside service will take place at Memory Park on July 1, 2026, at 10:00 AM. Before this, loved ones will have the chance to reminisce and share stories during a visitation at the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home, Longview Tx, on June 30, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00PM.
