Liz and I shared so many things! She was my neighbor, my friend, my club sister and Christian inspiration. Her strength was well known and her cheerful humor was contagious. May the beautiful memories strengthen us all.
She taught me how to iron a long sleeved shirt in 4 minutes. (back in the days, when we had to iron.) I used this in college for my DEMONSTRATION, and received an " A". (She learned from having to iron the shirts BEFORE she could go on a date on Saturday.....Her brothers had to have cleaned ironed shirts for their church service.)
I later told her about her helping me. She could tailor make any garment, before she finished high school.. She had a talent..
The loss of your mom breaks my heart as I know yours is broken as well. I loved your mom! She was a ray of sunshine. Prayers for all of you. I pray that the fond memories will soon overshadow the sorrow. Felicia and Jerry Bundick
