Elizabeth Simon's Obituary
Elizabeth Gail Simon, 66, of Longview passed away February 5, 2020 in Longview, TX. She was born August 10, 1953 in Jefferson, TX and grew up in Avinger, TX. She later moved to Pine Tree, TX and eventually met the love of her life, Eric Simon. They were married November 13, 1971 and then raised 3 beautiful children the remainder of her time here on earth. She loved family, friends and the Lord. She was a beautiful soul, who touched everyone’s heart she met along the way. She had an amazing mothers love for all and the strongest faith in our lord and savior. She was a talented artist who loved to draw, paint and crochet. She loved to travel and sitting on the beach with a good book was one of her favorite past times. Family gatherings with good food, conversation and her sharing of memories were always the best. This beautiful soul will forever be in our heart and our memories and is always with each of us.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Lurla “Moddy” Burns and husband Kermit Burns; grandmother Evelyn Wallace and husband Horace Wallace; uncle, Hughleon Burns
Those left here to cherish her memories are her loving husband, Eric Simon; mother, Shannon Odgen and husband Billy Odgen; father, Wayne Terry and wife Tina Terry; daughter, Laura Smith and husband Chuck Smith and their children, Sara Smith and Cheyenne Day and husband Brant Day and their daughter, Wren Day; son Cody Simon and wife Jayci Simon and their children, Trevor Simon and Rylee Simon; and daughter, Jessica Simon.
Services will be held in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 8, 2020.
