Elizabeth Jane Brooks' Obituary
Elizabeth Jane Brooks, 38, passed away at her home on June 27, 2013. Jane was born on January 20, 1975 in Henderson, TX to Reuben J and Helen Page Brooks. She graduated from Henderson High School in 1995. Jane was a joy to so many people and the lives she touched in her short life are immeasurable. Jane loved participating in the Special Olympics and working at the Andrews Center when she was younger. In later years, she found much happiness in traveling, painting, swimming and spending time with friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, A.B and Hazel Page, Mattie Brooks Williams and Rube Brooks; aunt, Joyce Carter; and uncles, A.B Page, Jr. and Henry Page.
Jane is survived by her parents, R.J. and Helen Brooks of Canton; sister and brother-in-law, Paige and Chris Sanders of Canton; niece, Torri Sanders of Dallas; nephew, Chase Sanders of Nacogdoches; aunts, Martha Gilliam of Bolivar, MO, JoAnn TiIlison of Henderson, Maude Page and Marie Page of Lafayette, LA,; aunt and uncle, Juanita and Benny Andrepont of Opelousas, LA and uncle, Ron Carter of Garland. She is also survived by many cousins including her absolute favorite, Scott Andrepont of Opelousas, LA
Services will be 2p.m. Saturday June 29, 2013 at Rader Funeral Home in Henderson, TX with Caroll Blanton officiating. Visitation will be held from 1p.m. until service time. Private family interment will be at Liberty Cemetery.
