He is preceded by his mother, Maria Morin, and his sister, Maria de los Ángeles Arriaga. He is survived by his father, Bartolo Arriaga, and many brothers and sisters. He leaves behind his wife, Teresita Mercado, and his children, Carolina, Jose de Jesus, Federico, Ramona, Silverio, Noel, Eleuterio Jr, and Mayela Arriaga. He also leaves behind his 15 grandchildren, 3 daughters in law, 2 sons in law, and many cousins and nieces and nephews.
