Elena Arboleya Beatty's Obituary
Elena Beatty, 81, of Longview, passed away peacefully on April 30, 2019, in the loving care of the doctors and nurses of CHRISTUS Good Shepherd Medical Center, with her family by her side. She was born to the late Vicente Arboleya Alvarado and María de Jesús Olivares Vieyra, April 5, 1938, in Mexico City, Mexico as the eldest of nine siblings.
Elena is survived by her son, James Beatty and wife Cheryl. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Madison and Mason Beatty. Elena is preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and two sisters.
A faithful servant of God, loving mother and dedicated employee, Elena, known to her family as, Abuelita, was a grandmother to all. She enjoyed her time most in service to our Lord and preparing meals for her family and friends. She was known for a positive attitude and caring nature. She was a stranger to no one, friend to all and believed in others before self. Her love of family and giving heart will be missed by all.
The family would like to thank all of those who cared for her during her last days. You truly made a difference. For those who have known Elena, visitation will be held, May 7, 2019, from 5-7:00 PM at the Rader Funeral Home, 1617 Judson Rd, Longview, TX. Her graveside service be held, May 8, 2019, at 10:00 AM at Rosewood Park Mausoleum Chapel, 1884 Farm to Market Rd 1844, Longview, TX.
