Eleanor Knauth Morgan
Funeral services for Eleanor Knauth Morgan, 77, of Longview will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at Winterfield United Methodist Church with the Reverend Jay Barnes officiating. Burial will follow in Rusk County Memorial Gardens under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. She passed away Saturday, December 10, in Longview.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Morgan was born January 21, 1934 in Tyler, TX to Herbert and Bessie Knauth. She retired from Good Shepherd Medical Center as a CRNA after 30 years of service. She was a Captain in the United States Air Force and a member of the Winterfield United Methodist Church. Mrs. Morgan was a member of the Omni Club at Texas Bank and Trust and enjoyed traveling.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 43 years, C.J. "Pete" Morgan of Longview; sons and daughters-in-law, Donnie and Pam Morgan of Tomball, Larry and Alex Morgan of Jefferson and Stephen and Patty Morgan of Longview; daughter and son-in-law, Rosie and Ron Stevenson of Tomball; grandchildren, Jason Morgan and wife Tory, Jennifer Lively and husband Arthur Lively, Trevor Morgan, Kristin Morgan, Micky Ortega and Ale Ortega; 7 great grandchildren; brother, Gregory Knauth and wife Ann of Rosenberg; and brother-in-law, Frank Morgan.
