Elaine L. Boatwright's Obituary
Elaine L. Boatwright, 80, went to be with the Lord on August 29, 2022.
Elaine was born on June 21, 1942 in Clovis, NM to her proud parents - the late Eric and Gladys Pierce from Pleasant Hill, NM.
Elaine grew up in the Pleasant Hill community with her brother, Wayne Pierce, who currently lives in Lubbock, TX. She was involved in her church and numerous 4-H activities growing up.
Elaine married Gene Boatwright on December 21, 1958 in Clovis, NM. Elaine and Gene shared many adventures during their 57 years together prior to Gene passing on August 31, 2015. They had three daughters, Sharon (Bocox) currently living in Pleasant Hill, NM , Debbie (Patterson) currently living in Pittsburg, TX, and D’Aun (Goss) currently living in Longview, TX.
Elaine was an amazing wife and mother who seemed to master any skill she tried. Not only was she an intrical part of the family business but she was an exceptional homemaker. She loved gardening, sewing, baking, canning, refinishing furniture, and crafts of all sorts.
Elaine was proceeded in death by her husband Gene Boatwright and parents Eric and Gladys Pierce.
Survivors include her three daughters Sharon Bocox and husband Ken - grandaughters Amy Bocox and Hannah Mesman; Debbie Patterson and husband David - grandkids Ricky Robinson, Randy Robinson, Sherea Durant, Kevin Patterson. Jessica Mallon; D’Aun Goss - grandsons Cole Goss and Brett Goss; 10 great grandchildren; one brother Wayne Pierce and wife Beverly - nieces Lori Pierce, Keri Pierce, Kim Bader and their families.
Visitation will be Friday, September 2 at 11:00 and Memorial Service at 12:00 - Rader Funeral Home.
