Memorial graveside services for El Wanda Nix Smith, 71, of Longview will be held at Eleven o'clock am Saturday October 9, 2010 at Harmony Hill Cemetery in Rusk County, Texas. El Wanda passed away September 30, 2010 in Longview.
She was born November 22, 1938 in Longview, Texas.
She is survived by her sons, Allen Smith and wife Sandra of Longview; Bill Smith and wife Rita of Beaumont, Texas; 8 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; one sister, Sue Coody and husband David of Crystal Beach, Texas; one brother, J.W. Nix of Longview.
She was preceded in death by parents, Henry Lester Nix and Allieve Cochran Nix; one son, James Arbon; three daughters, Rebecca Smith, Renee Smith Pettit, Michelle Smith Turner, two sisters, Jewel Faye Gault, Henrietta Fletcher and a brother, Richard Allen Nix.
