Eileen Lenihan McEwan
Eileen Lenihan McEwan passed away peacefully in Longview, Texas on December 12, 2004. Eileen was born February 12, 1920 in Corona, New York to Josephine and Michael Lenihan. On July 19, 1941 she married Paul J. McEwan. Eileen and Paul raised their children in Freeport, New York until they moved to Houston in 1961.
Survivors include her children, JoAnn McEwan of Houston, Mary Westerman and husband Carl of Longview, Pat Bonnell and husband David of Germantown, MD, Jeannie Shulman and husband James of Chicago, PJ McEwan and wife Loren of Bainbridge Island, WA, Laura Dase and husband Sam of Las Vegas, and Peter McEwan of Rosenberg. Her grandchildren Alyson Espinoza-Diaz and husband Adrian, Sarah Hesler, Megan Bonnell, Elizabeth Bonnell, Jackson McEwan, Max McEwan, and one great-grandchild Gabriel Espinoza-Diaz also survive her.
Her husband Paul J. McEwan, granddaughter Kathleen Hesler Helms, and brothers Gabriel Lenihan, Michael Lenihan, and Kenneth Lenihan preceded Eileen in death.
Services will be held Thursday December 16, 2004 at 11:00 AM at St. Cecillia's Catholic Church.
