Eileen Eberz's Obituary
Eileen Eberz was born on May 26, 1956 in Longview, Texas to Sheldon and Katherine Crum. She departed this life on Sunday, October 14, 2018 after a longtime battle with Alzheimer’s. Eileen was a graduate of Pine Tree High School where she finished in the top five percent of her class. She received several homemaking awards in her senior year. Eileen was the winner of the Betty Crocker Family Leaders of Tomorrow Award. She achieved this by scoring the highest in written knowledge and attitude in an examination administered to seniors through the country. After high school she attended Kilgore Junior College and majored in business administration. She was employed for 35 years at Letourneau Inc. where she worked in the purchasing section and held the position of Senior Planner. Eileen’s first love was her care for several adopted cats. Eileen is survived by her husband Robert, mother Katherine, her brother Mike, daughter Ashley McNeil of Kilgore, Texas and one grandchild Kayden. Services will be held in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Longview at noon Friday, October 19, 2018. The family will receive friends in the chapel from 11 to noon prior to the service. In lieu of flowers please send donations in her name to the Alzheimer’s Association.
