Edwin Lynn Dennis
Memorial services for Edwin Lynn Dennis, 60, of Hallsville will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at the Mulberry Springs Baptist Church. In honoring his request, cremation arrangements are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. He passed away Saturday, February 11, at his residence.
Mr. Dennis was born October 25, 1951 in Springhill, La to Clarence and Virgie Dennis and had been a resident of Hallsville for the past 31 years. He was a pipe fitter supervisor for Brown and Root and was a veteran of the U. S. Army. He loved fishing and being out doors. He was a loving grandfather and his grandchildren were the light of his life. Mr. Dennis was a member of Mulberry Springs Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Travis Dennis; and granddaughter, Jessica Dennis.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 31 years, Shannon Dennis; son Jason Dennis and wife Lauri and their children, Jonathan, Joshua and Jordan; son Jededia Dennis and wife Jacquelyn and their children, Jayden, Lillian and Melody; son Justin Dennis and wife Jessica and their children Brian, Jesse and Travis; sister Betty Garner and husband Dick; sister-in-law Deonna Dennis.
