Edward S. Zyla's Obituary
Edward S. Zyla went home to Our Father in Heaven on Monday, November 26, 2007 after a prolonged battle with cancer.
He was the beloved husband of Irene ?Rene? nee Jagielski; loving father of Gloria Kenneth Przybyla of Bryan, Ohio and Suzanne James Paese of Des Plaines, Ilinois; doting grandfather of Dawn John Psurny of Sylvania, Ohio and Kimberly Dominic Chiappini of Channahon, Illinois; proud great-grandfather to Clay, Karlee and Garrett Psurny and Gianna Chiappini; nephew of Lottie Zyla and brother-in-law of Leo Jagielski of the Chicago area, and uncle of many nieces and nephews.
He was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church and a 4th degree Knight of Columbus. He was a Longtime Perpetual Adorer at St. Mary?s Church.
He was retired from Wisconsin Steel Division of International Harvester in Chicago, Illinois and Lone Star Steel and Datacom in Texas.
Visitation will be Wednesday evening 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Rader Funeral Home, 1617 Judson Rd., with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 am Thursday at St. Anthony Catholic Church with Father Bruce Lincoln officiating. Entombment will be Monday, December 3rd at Assumption Cemetery Mausoleum in Glenwood, Illinois.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Texas Home Health Hospice or to St. Anthony Church.
