Edward M. ?Eddie Max? Tackett
Funeral services for Edward M. ?Eddie Max? Tackett, 67, of Longview, will be held at 3 PM Saturday, December 20, 2003 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview, with the Reverend Morris Ivy officiating. Burial will be held at 2 PM Sunday, December 21, 2003 at Camp Creek Cemetery in Franklin, Texas.
Mr. Tackett was born on January 24, 1936 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Robert E. and Margaret Rawson Tackett. He passed away on December 17, 2003 in a Longview hospital.
He had been an East Texas resident since 1972, was retired from Pine Tree Independent School District where he was a plumber and a locksmith, and was a member of the First Assembly of God.
Mr. Tackett was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Johnny Tackett; and sisters, Linda Brian and Ruth Tackett. He is survived by his loving wife of many years, June Tackett of Longview; children, Dale Noble of Chicago, IL., Tammy Youngblood, Judy Limmer and her husband Jesse, and Dana Huggins and her husband Bill, all of Franklin; grandchildren, Erin Limmer, Kevin Limmer, Allen Huggins, Stevie Huggins, Joey Redden, Mikey Youngblood, and Ian Youngblood; brothers, Gordon Rawson, Stanley Tackett, Roland Tackett, Cleve Tackett, and Steve Tackett; and a sister and brother in Christ, Sue and Ken Bruce of Atlanta, GA.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Friday evening, December 19, 2003 at the funeral home.
