Edward Kirschke's Obituary
Graveside services for Edward Kirschke, 71, of East Mountain, will be 2:30 PM Wednesday at Old East Mountain Cemetery with Reverend David Badders and Reverend Darrell Howanitz officiating. Interment will follow services. Rader Funeral Home, Longview, in charge of services. The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 9AM to 11 AM.
Mr. Kirschke passed away September 12, 2008 at his residence.
Edward was born January 2, 1937 in Houston, Texas. He came to Longview in 1970 and was a retired machinist from Crown, Cork and Seal. He was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church.
Mr. Kirschke is survived by his wife: Judith of East Mountain, sons: Stephen Kirschke and wife Carolyn of White Oak and Bill Kirschke and wife Debra of Gilmer, daughter: Helen Kirschke of East Mountain, grandchildren: Alicia Kirschke, Ryan Kirschke, Brandon Kirschke, Sara Rios and husband Pete, Dawn Kelly and husband Wes, Stefanie Kirschke, Linsay Kirschke, Samantha Lavigne and husband Michael, Kristan Sheedy and husband Adam, great grandchildren: Keegan Kelly, Autumn and Skyler Lavigne, brothers: Ernest Kirschke of Fayetteville, TX and W. L. Kirschke and wife Laverne of LaGrange, TX; special friends: Teresa Kirschke and Red and Angel and Family, several nieces and nephews.
The family request in lieu of flowers that memorials be made to Beacon Hospice at Margarets House, Longview, TX.
