Edward H. "Tid" Tidwell
Services for Edward H. "Tid" Tidwell , 89, of East Mountain will be 10 am Friday, February 13th at the Rader Funeral Home Chapel with James Winniford officiating. Interment will follow at Rosewood Park Cemetery. Mr. Tidwell died Saturday, February 7th at a Gilmer care center.
He was born December; 10, 1919 in Milam County, Texas to Knox and Allie Mae Hill Tidwell and attended schools in Hearne, Texas. A former resident of Odessa, Texas and Lafayette, Louisiana, he had resided in East Mountain since 1976. He was a retired electrical foreman with Exon Pipeline Co. and was an active member of the East Mountain Church of Christ and was a veteran of the United States Army Air Corp.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Marie Tidwell in 2008 and is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, George and Amy Tidwell of Fairbanks, Alaska; son, Conrad Tidwell of Gilmer and son and daughter-in-law, James and Glynn Tidwell of Prairieville, Louisiana; 7 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and brother, Don Tidwell of Wimberley, Texas.
