Funeral services for Edward Eugene Moore, 72, of White Oak will be held at 2 PM Thursday, May 11, 2006 in the chapel of Flanagan ? Watts Funeral Home in Marietta, OK. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery, in Thackerville, OK. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday, May 9, 2006 at Rader Funeral Home of Longview, 1617 Judson Road.
Mr. Moore was born on September 25, 1933 in Newport, AR., to Harvey and Mattie Moore. He passed away on Monday morning, May 8, 2006 at his residence. He was a supervising drivers trainer for JB Hunt before retiring, and most recently worked for Pine Tree I.S.D.. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
A loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, Mr. Moore was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Floys Marie Moore of White Oak; sons, Edward Wayne Moore and Roy Eugene Moore, both of White Oak; daughter and son-in-law, Wynona and Reese Wright, Sr. of Longview; grandchildren, Tonya and Jeff Kronschnabl of Frisco, Reese Wright, Jr., of Longview, Donny Moore and Dana Moore, both of Gladewater; one great granddaughter, Sarah Kronschnable of Frisco; sister, Beatrice Mason of Anna; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
